A special mid-week tasting featuring the wines of Domaine Hauvette, a small run by Dominique Hauvette, who has focused on natural winemaking using concrete eggs for fermentation at her winery in Provence for over thirty years. With local importer Phil Smith now bringing these wines directly into Oregon, we are excited to roll them out for you to taste and learn about. Patrick Benad will be on hand to pour and educate you on this exciting estate. Drop in tasting, no reservations required.

New Affordable Italian Selections • 5pm - 7pm • Free Drop-in Tasting

We've invited Bonnie from PDX Wines to share a few of her new Italian arrivals that we think you'll enjoy. Come sip on Falanghina from Campania, Sangiovese from Tuscany and Barbera from Piemonte. But neither of the reds are from where you might expect, so we look forward to surprising your palate. Free drop-in tasting, stop by after work for a sip of something different.

VIOLA WINE CELLARS Release Weekend

Our first official new releases made by Darryl under the VIOLA and Alberta labels will hit the shelves this weekend. Both from the 2012 vintage, the VIOLA Barbera is a fresh, young, stainless steel aged Barbera made from fruit purchased at Alder Ridge Vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills. The Alberta Bianco consists of Pinot Blanc grapes purchased from Yamhill Valley Vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Darryl will be pouring them for you on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. The Friday tasting will toss in a few complimentary wines that inspired these creations, along with the usual snacks for a $10 Main Flight fee. For the Saturday tasting we'll allow the new releases to stand on their own and share them with you anytime that day as a complimentary taste.

ABOUT OUR FRIDAY NIGHT FLIGHTS start at 4pm
All Friday tastings run from 4pm to 7pm and we pour until the bottles are dry or 7pm, whichever happens first. Come early for your best chance to taste all the selections of the evening. *Note that our Main Flight is complimentary for cork club members (limit two flights per week, per account. A member must be present to use this nontransferrable benefit).
